Phil was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, and pursued both of his childhood dreams: becoming a pilot and playing in the Super Bowl. Mr. McConkey is currently the Vice Chairman and a Partner at Academy, responsible for overall leadership and overseeing daily operations, as well as business development and equities.
